Da Regioni de profundis per medicina generale
Italia, 2028: trentatremila medici di famiglia sono andati in pensione, solo undicimila nuovi medici di famiglia li hanno sostituiti. Risultato: 14 milioni di persone sono rimasti senza medico di base oppure con un'assistenza sanitaria insufficiente. «A fronte di queste proiezioni, e della necessità assoluta e urgente di interventi correttivi, apprendiamo con stupore che le Regioni avrebbero deciso, per il prossimo triennio, di lasciare invariato il numero di borse per il Corso di Formazione Specifica in medicina generale». Un 'De profundis' per il settore, secondo il presidente della Fnomceo, Filippo Anelli che sottolinea come tutto questo oltre a rendere inarginabile l'emorragia di medici di famiglia aumenterebbero le disuguaglianze di salute tra Regioni più o meno popolose. Le Regioni, inoltre, continua Anelli, «starebbero valutando di ripartire le borse in base a criteri del tutto inadeguati, proporzionandole al numero di residenti o alla ripartizione del Fondo sanitario nazionale. Il criterio, invece, non può essere che quello di sostituire i medici che andranno in pensione con un pari numero di medici formati, per mantenere una proporzione ottimale tra medico di base e pazienti su tutto il territorio nazionale». «Se a questa ripartizione, che non possiamo che definire scriteriata, e al numero gravemente insufficiente di borse, che andrebbero almeno raddoppiate, aggiungiamo il tentativo, in discussione presso il ministero, di mettere in atto un 'task shifting', un trasferimento di competenze dal medico verso altre figure professionali sanitarie, il quadro è completo: non ci resta che rassegnarci a recitare il De profundis per la medicina generale», continua Anelli.
