Ora fase più difficile tra esitanti e ferie
«Siamo arrivati alla fase più difficile della vaccinazione, perché serve intercettare i cittadini che hanno più resistenze e che rafforzano la loro convinzione per la minore incidenza di Covid-19. A questo si aggiunge il fatto che, con le ferie, le persone tendono a rimandare per evitare che la seconda dose coincida con le vacanze. E ci sono anche le ferie del personale sanitario». A dirlo all'Adnkronos Salute è Silvestro Scotti, segretario nazionale della Federazione dei medici di medicina generale (Fimmg). «Tra il 10 e il 15 luglio - spiega - ci sarà sicuramente un 'fermo' nelle richieste di vaccinazione nei nostri studi, ma questo potrebbe essere superato con una maggiore flessibilità sulla seconda dose. Anche perché i medici di famiglia non possono trasferire questo compito a eventuali sostituti, non autorizzati a entrare nelle piattaforme vaccinali regionali, a cui accede esclusivamente il medico titolare». Mentre «fisiologicamente lo zoccolo duro degli esistanti rappresenta una sfida notevole per il sistema sanitario». Alla luce di tutto questo, Scotti guarda con sospetto a una «improvvisa maggiore apertura alla collaborazione dei medici di famiglia alla campagna vaccinale da cui, nonostante la disponibilità e i nostri appelli per un più utilizzo incisivo della medicina generale, sono stati tenuti ai margini. Coinvolgerli di più ora suona quasi una presa in giro. Non certo un riconoscimento della professionalità - precisa - quanto la necessità di mettere un 'coperchio' su un problema».
