Specialità in medicina di comunità e cure primarie
Oggi viene annunciato Il decreto sul riordino delle Scuole di specializzazione con l' annuncio della nuova specialità in medicina di comunità e cure primarie.
Si registra qualche presa di posizione favorevole: finalmente avremo esperti di cure primarie formati nelle Università.
Come Fimmg abbiamo il dovere di esprimere qualche perplessità: quali saranno le prospettive dei futuri specialisti in cure primarie che, senza il possesso del titolo del corso di formazione specifica in medicina generale non potranno esercitare la nostra professione. I posti in specialità inoltra saranno pochissimi relegando questi colleghi ad un ruolo sicuramente marginali.
Ci sfugge inoltre il disegno, sempre che ci sia, del mondo universitario, per intervenire in punta di piedi in un' area professionale oggi formata con successo dalla professione stessa e che potrebbe rappresentare un modello da proporre anche a livello europeo.
La formazione specialistica universitaria condanna spesso i giovani medici all'esclusione dalla professione reale e a un lungo, costoso e non professionalizzante periodo sui banchi universitari.
Continuiamo a sostenere il corso di formazione specifica in medicina generale, il decreto sulle nuove specialità potrà formare qualche collega dirigente di distretto, non certo i medici di famiglia che nel breve dovranno affrontare le nuove sfide professionali nell'area delle cure primarie.
