Roma - "Questo decreto ha suscitato parecchie polemiche, ma spero che le possiamo risolvere, perché a mio parere è una misura che va incontro ai medici, che hanno tenuto in piedi il nostro Servizio sanitario nazionale in questi anni di crisi. E a loro va il mio plauso". Così il ministro della Salute, Beatrice Lorenzin, nel suo intervento alla Summer School di 'Costruiamo il futuro' a Sorrento tramesso da Rainews24, torna sulla norma contro gli esami inutili.
"Com'è noto io sono mamma di due gemellini - ha raccontato il ministro - e la femminuccia ha avuto del reflusso fin dai primissimi mesi di vita. Come tutte le mamme ho avuto un'apprensione fortissima per mia figlia, e ho chiamato più volte il mio pediatra. A un certo punto lui mi ha detto, potrei anche farle fare un'ecografia, ma quello che troveremo è sempre del reflusso. Curiamola per questo, e vediamo come va. Io ho avuto fiducia in lui e ora mia figlia sta bene. Questo rapporto fra me, il medico e la paziente, che era mia figlia, è stato caratterizzato da tre punti: la mia fiducia, il medico che si è assunto delle responsabilità, e lo Stato che ha risparmiato 150 euro.
Questa è appropriatezza. E immaginatevi queste 150 euro moltiplicate per 1 milione: sono i soldi che ci mancano per comprare nuove Tac negli ospedali pubblici, per i farmaci contro l'epatite C, per fare gli screening e la prevenzione sul territori, per garantire quello che serve al cittadino".
